FAQ's
Are all of your repairs carried out on site?
All repairs/services are carried out on site by our jewellers with exception to silver plating, engraving, pearl re-threading and on occasion stone resetting ,which are done by our jewellers based in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter.
How do I know that my jewellery will be safe whilst you have it for repair?
We have 2 industrial sized safes in which all of the jewellery in our care and all of our materials are kept in over night.
What happens if my jewellery is returned to me with additional damages?
This is impossible! We have a strict policy to discuss all faults, no matter how small, with the customer before taking in a repair. This includes making the customer aware of any missing stones, any risk to stones and any scratches or chips within stones. We then proceed to sketch the item and make notes of these imperfections before working on it.
How long does it take to size a ring?
We can usually size a ring the same day that you bring it in to us and sometimes even whilst you wait providing that we have the precious metal in stock. If the jeweller is extremely busy it may take 2-3 days.
Can all repairs be done whilst I wait?
We aim to complete your repair as quickly and professionally as possible and so if we have the materials in stock and the jeweller has the working capacity we are more than happy to do repairs whilst you wait! Some repairs (such as claw re-tipping and stone re-setting) require a lot of work and therefore are not able to be completed in such a short space of time.
Does my repair come with a guarantee?
We are so sure of our workmanship that all of our repairs come with a 12 month warranty (terms and conditions applied).
